KENANSVILLE -- Mavis McIver 63, 199 Sarecta Road, died Tuesday at the University of North Carolina Hospital.
Funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Big Zion AME Zion Church, with the Rev. Larry E. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Middleton Cemetery in Kenansville.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Frank McIver Sr. and Minnie F. Miller, and the husband of Joeanne Peterson McIver.
Visitation was Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
