PIKEVILLE -- Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Bass-Jones-Hines Cemetery, 450 Perkins Mill Road, Rosewood.
There will be a time to share with the family at the graveside and other times 1170 Capps Bridge Road, Pikeville.
Surviving are a daughter, Janet M. Woodard of Rosewood; a son and daughter-in-law, David B. and Tammy Woodard of Pikeville; two grandchildren, Brooke and Brian Woodard; and sisters, Katherine W. Raper of Raleigh and Elizabeth W. Bowden of Kennesaw, Ga.
Mr. Woodard was a native of Raleigh, and was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Bass Woodard, and siblings, Billy Woodard, Margaret Blacknall Woodard and Pete Woodard.
He was a member of Pike's Crossroads Pentecostal Holiness Church and Jesse S. Barnes Camp of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans.
