LAGRANGE -- Evangelist Sarah A. Mitchell, 85, 1458 N. Beston Road, died Friday at LifeCare Hospitals of North Carolina in Rocky Mount.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Holly Street United Holy Church, with pastor Judy Yelverton officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery South in Dudley.
Sarah was born in Stewart County, Ga., Dec. 15, 1926, to the late Laura Toombs Cromley and Thad Cromley.
Visitation will be Thursday at McIntyre Funeral Home from 2 to 5 p.m., with the family present from 4 to 5 p.m.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Leander Mitchell, 1458 N. Beston Road, where family and friends will assemble at 9:30 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
