Roy Wilton Dawson, 88, passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by his family.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Park. The Rev. Ted Manby and the Rev. David Jackson will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery and other times at 2704 Northwood Drive, Goldsboro.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Sugg Dawson.
Memorials may be directed to the New Hope Ruritan Club Scholarship Fund, in care of JoAnn Davis, 207 Plantation Road, Goldsboro or to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
