LEROY CORE

Leroy Core passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born April 27, 1934, to the late Jessie and Florence Core in Wayne county.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Core, and seven children.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at Elm Grove Church in Pikeville. Interment will be held at Union Grove Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Elm Grove Church in Pikeville.
Family will be receiving friends at 209 Brentwood Drive.
Arrangements are being handled by E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Inc.
