Derrick Tyrone Smith, 53, 414 Creech St., died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born Nov. 6, 1959, in Wayne County to Harvey and Alice Earl Jones Smith. He was married to Marie J. Hill Smith.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will assemble at the home in preparation for the funeral procession.
