Vicky Wallace Hughes, 65, of Port Orange, Fla., passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Halifax Medical Center after winning several battles with cancer but losing the war.
A celebration of life will be held at North Turn Restaurant, 4511 S. Atlantic Ave., Ponce Inlet, Fla. 32127, on Dec. 8, 2012, from 1 until 3 p.m.
She loved life, travel, reading and her kitties.
Vicky was born in Pensacola, Fla., on Oct. 12, 1947. She graduated from East Carolina University, Greenville, 1969 with a BA.
Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Faye Wallace; brother, Larry Wallace; and her special kitty, Miss Sophie Tucker.
She is survived by her beloved cats, Zack and Bo; and special friends Robin Taylor and Denise Craver.
