PIKEVILLE -- Loretta Pender Hill, 68, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Stallings officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday following the service at the church.
Loretta was born in Wayne County on March 30, 1944 to the late Charles Hayden Pender and Lillie Mae Jones Pender. She had worked as a cosmetologist for many years with her mother. Loretta was a member of Pleasant Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary at the church.
Loretta is survived by her husband of 42 years, Joseph Carrel Hill; her daughter, Angela Robertson and husband, Russell, of Pikeville; her son, Charles Hill and wife, Cindy, of Saulston; and her grandchildren, Hayden Robertson, Dawson Robertson and Ryan Hubbard.
