FREMONT -- Steve "Brut" Barnes, 63, 608 Sycamore St., died Sunday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
He was born May 30, 1949, in Wayne County to the late Esther and George McLean.
Visitation will be in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel of J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., with the family present from 3 to 4 p.m.
