Betty Sue McMillan Carroll, 82, of the Rones Chapel community died Tuesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was the daughter of the late George and Gus McMillan and the wife of Luther R. Carroll Jr. Mrs. Carroll was a member of Rones Chapel United Methodist Church, and retired from Delano Hill and Associates.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rones Chapel UMC with Pastor Mike Wattley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Carroll is survived by two sons, Steven "Greg" Carroll and wife, Anita, of Durham, and Douglas Wayne Carroll, of Oxon Hill, Md.; a sister, Martha Jo Webb, of Little Rock, Az.; and three grandchildren.
