FREMONT -- Sallie Head Hall, 88, Robert Peele Avenue, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hall was born in Greene County Oct. 18, 1924, to the late Ben and Maggie Taylor Head.
She was a member of Fremont Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ray Hall of Goldsboro and Douglas Hall and wife, Linda, of Stoneville; two daughters, Ann Howell and husband, Wayne, of Fremont and Ruth Bailey and husband, Wilton, of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Leon Hall.
