Elex Moore, 77, resident of Willow Creek Nursing Home, died Sunday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Graveside service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Bright Cemetery in Snow Hill.
He was born Sept. 26, 1935, to Garfield and Daisy Moore in Lenoir County. He was married to Ryals Moore.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home.
The family will assemble at the graveside at 10:45 a.m. Friday in preparation for the service.
