Alice Lucille Anderson Suggs, 77, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at the Brian Center in Lincolnton.
Alice was born in Wayne County June 20, 1935, to the late Herman and Relma Hinnant Anderson.
She retired from Banks Elementary School in Kinston after 29 years of service.
Alice was a member of New Hope Friends Meeting.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, in the sanctuary of New Hope Friends Meeting.
A service of remembrance will follow at 11 a.m., with Bill Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Family Cemetery.
Alice is survived by her son, William Suggs of Jacksonville; daughter, Lynn Stallings of Sherrills Ford; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
