Foy Ingram, 79, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. t the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Ira Williford officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Foy was born in Johnston County, on Nov. 30, 1932, to the late Freeman Ingram and Leona Gurley Ingram. He was married to the late Louise Barwick Ingram.
Foy is survived by his son, Dwight Ingram, of Goldsboro; his daughters, Linda Langham of Springfield Illinois, Renee Ingram of Goldsboro; his sister, Lila Mae Butler, of Nashville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Foy was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Odom.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home.
