Foy Ingram, 79, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Vidant Medical Center.
Foy was born in Johnston County Nov. 30, 1932, to the late Freeman Ingram and Leona Gurley Ingram. He was married to the late Louise Barwick Ingram.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ira Williford officiating. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
Foy is survived by his son, Dwight Ingram of Goldsboro; his daughters, Linda Langham of Springfield Ill., and Renee Ingram of Goldsboro; his sister, Lila Mae Butler of Nashville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Foy was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Odom.
The family will receive friends Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
