WARSAW -- Edna Earle W. Carr, 86, Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Southwood Nursing Home.
Mrs. Carr was born Dec. 21, 1925, to the late David Earl and Ruth Smith Williams.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw.
Visitation will follow the service.
Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Faison Cemetery.
Mrs. Carr is survived by sons, Ronnie Gore and wife, Edith, of Faison and David Gore and wife, Beth, of Wilson; sister, Edith Boyd of Chester, Va.; grandchildren, Matthew Gore, Courtney King and husband, Andy, Laurin Gore, Kasi Gore, Ryan Gore, Denise Lewis and husband, James, and Becky Straughn; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carr was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gayle Clifton.
