Diana Conley Mann, 55, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Diana was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on Aug. 10, 1957, to Carol McCoy Sutton of Goldsboro and the late James Conley. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas D. Sutton, whom she considered her daddy. Diana continued operating the family business, HV Processors, after her stepfather’s death in Jan. 25, 2011. Diana will be remembered by many for her love of life and its varied possibilities. There are many cherished animals that were given homes because of her care and concern for their welfare. Diana was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Father Patrick Keane presiding. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.

In addition to her mother, Diana is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mark Frederick Mann; her brother, James Richard Conley and wife, Shirley, of Kempner, Tex.; her niece, Tenna Conley of Goldsboro; and her beloved horse of 28 years, Little Joe. She is also survived by four stepsiblings and many special friends including, Randy and Sandy Jernigan of Goldsboro and Rich and Karen Forbes of Plano, Tex.

Diana was also preceded in death by her brother, John Michael Conley.
