FANNIE G. TAYLOR

FAISON -- Fannie Gautier Taylor, 86, of Friendship Church Road, died early Friday, Aug. 24, at Kitty Askins Hospice in Goldsboro.

Services will be held at 5 p.m. today, Aug. 26, at Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Cotton officiating, and followed by visitation. At other times, the family is receiving at the residence. Burial will be at 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27, at Faison Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor, remembered as a hard-working Godly woman, is survived by her grandchildren, Rodney J. Best and wife, Sherry H. Best, and Donna Best Kennedy and husband, Johnny Kennedy, all of Faison; great-grandchildren, Molly and Colby Best, and Justin, Joshua, and Danielle Kennedy; two sisters, Pauline G. King and Gladys G. Creech of Seven Springs; three brothers, Jasper Gautier and wife, Joyce, of Seven Springs, Charles Gautier and wife, Joyce, of Mount Olive, and Curtis Gautier and wife, Kitty, of Chesapeake, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her children, Thomas Wayne Taylor and Fannie Lou Taylor Best; son-in-law, Johnny Best; husband, Wade Hampton Taylor; parents, Jasper H. and Rosa Mae Hairr Gautier; and brothers, Hubert Gautier, Blackmon Gautier, and Leslie Howard "Bud" Gautier.

The family extends a special thanks to those who extended a helping hand in caring for Mrs. Taylor during her days of confinement and illness. May God bless one and all.
