WARSAW -- Kennon Summerlin, 75, died Thursday at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Wallace.
A funeral was held Saturday at 2 p.m., at Johnson Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service in Devotional Gardens. Visitation was at 1:30 p.m. outside the church.
Mr. Summerlin was born in Duplin County to the late Steven L. Summerlin and Nona Anderson Summerlin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Costin Todd. Two stepdaughters survive.
