MIRIAM JONES JOHNSON

Miriam Elaine Jones Johnson, 76, passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was born in England Nov. 2, 1935, to the late Edgar and Dorothy Jones.
Ms. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Alison Wood of Goldsboro; two sons, Jeffery Johnson of Atlantic Beach and Richard Johnson and wife, Michele, of Waynesville; three sisters, Gloria Sainsbury, Jenny Taylor and Mary Garrett all of England; and two grandchildren, Bradley Johnson and wife, Angela, and Christopher Wood and girlfriend, Becca.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by a sister, Roslyn Stroud.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
