MOUNT OLIVE -- Robert Clay Walker, 37, died early Easter Sunday morning, April 8, in a motor vehicle accident.

He was the son of the late John Robert and Annie Mae Bennett Walker.

He and his wife, Sandy, were owners and operators of Endicott Homes at Mount Olive.

He had been a member of Bear Marsh Baptist Church since childhood.

Clay is survived by his wife, Sandy Kay Stanley Walker of the home; a son, Robert Sterling Walker of Mount Olive; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny R. and Pam Brock of Warsaw; a sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann W. and Lee Davis of Goldsboro; another sister-in-law, Carol Brock of Mount Olive, widow of brother, Dennis Brock; nephews and niece, Danny Ray Brock Jr., Wesley Ray Brock, Alan Brock, Walker Davis, John Davis and Adrianna Davis; and great-nieces and nephews, Hannah Brock, Logan Knowles-Brock and Brennon Knowles.

A service to celebrate Clay's life will be held Tuesday, April 10, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating. Following the service, the family will remain at the funeral home for visitation, and at other times, the family will be at the residence, 115 E. N.C. 403, Mount Olive (at Rones Chapel).

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Robert Sterling Walker Educational Fund at any Southern Bank location would be appreciated.
