WILLIAM HENRY BOGUE

FREMONT -- Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, William Henry Bogue, 90, Fremont, went to be with his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Mr. Bogue was born in Wayne County Nov. 20, 1921, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Ella Lancaster Bogue.

He was a World War ll Veteran, who served in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bogue was preceded in death by three sisters, Linda Killen, Annie Thompson and Ruth Mercer, and a brother, Milton Bogue.

Mr. Bogue is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Edna Crumpler Bogue; a daughter, Teresa Davis and husband, Elton, of Goldsboro; a son, Ronnie Bogue and wife, Nancy, of Fremont; a sister, Mildred Lancaster; three brothers, Frank Lee Bogue of Fremont, Thomas Bogue of Saratoga and Hugh Bogue of Greensboro; five grandchildren, Ginny Sauls and husband, Michael, Sterling Bogue, Mary Channing Huffman and husband, Jay, Kelly Guy and husband, Chris, and Ashley Graham and husband, Elliott; and seven great-grandchildren, Aliya, Will, Tanner, Cain, Caleb, Aubrey and Mason.

Funeral services will be held at Mr. Bogue's home church, Mount Carmel United Methodist Church in Pikeville, Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The family will receive friends afterward in the church fellowship hall.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

Flowers are appreciated or donations may be made to Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.
