RICHARD D. HOLLOMAN

Richard Davis Holloman, 86, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Willow Creek Nursing Home.
Richard was born in Wayne County June 18, 1925, to the late Emmett K. Holloman and Pearl Davis Holloman.
He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Richard retired from the United States Naval Reserve, and was a member of the Retired Officers Association.
He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a private graveside service at Willow Dale Cemetery.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jean F. Holloman, of more than 60 years; his sons, William E. Holloman of Raleigh and Douglas B. Holloman and wife, Cynthia, of Goldsboro; and his granddaughter, Emily Holloman.
