MAGNOLIA -- Lela T. Powell, 89, died Wednesday at the Brian Center of Wallace.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Magnolia Baptist Church. Burial will be in Devotional Gardens.
She was born in Duplin County June 27, 1922, to the late James P. Tucker and Henrietta Gaylor Tucker. She was married to the late James Alvin Powell.
She is survived by a son and a daughter.
Visitation will be at l0 a.m. in the Magnolia Baptist Church fellowship hall.
Community Funeral Home of Warsaw is handling the arrangements.
