KENANSVILLE -- Dylan Michael Best, two-day-old son of Randy Best Jr. and Wendy W. Boone, died Thursday, Jan. 5, at Duke University Hospital in Durham.
Graveside services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Calypso Cemetery, with the Rev. Nathan Kimbrell officiating.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Cody Boone of Warsaw; maternal grandparents, Jerry Steve Ward of Mount Olive and Leah B. Jones of Kenansville; paternal grandparents, Randy Best Sr. of Warsaw and Rita Diaz of Kenansville; and maternal great-grandparents, Jerry and Mary W. Ward of Mount Olive.
