Donnell "Donald" McClenny, 83, formerly of Smith Chapel community, died Monday at the University of North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Memorial service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rhodes Friends Meeting, with the Rev. Carroll Overman officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
He was the son of the late Samuel Festus and Callie Heath McClenny, and the husband of the late Margaret S. McClenny.
Visitation will be Thursday at the graveside.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home is serving the McClenny family.
