Donald Ray Pearce, 69, formerly of Princeton, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011.
The funeral will be held at Casey Funeral Home Chapel today, Dec. 11, 2011, at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Ramon Mizell officiating. The burial will be on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at noon in Princeton Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 19, 1942, and was the son of the late Harvey Graham and Marcella Woodard Pearce.
He is survived by his wife, Jean V. Pearce; son, James Donnie Pearce of Garner; daughters, Pamela P. Stancil of Fuquay Varina and Brenda P. Atkinson of Garner; brothers, Frank Pearce and wife, Grace, of Princeton and Graham Pearce and wife, Dolores, of Macon; sisters, Neda Crites of Goldsboro, Ila Mae Corbertt of Goldsboro and Edna Creech and husband, Billy, of Wilson's Mills; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home Chapel today, Dec. 11, 2011, and immediately following the service.
