RICKEY ALLEN OFFIELD

Ricky Allen Offield, 40, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Ricky was born in Carter County, Tenn., Nov. 6, 1970.

He worked as a marketing manager with Loves Trucking Co.

Ricky had a great love for fishing, cool days in the mountains, all sports, as well as comic books and trivia.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service remembering Ricky at 3 p.m. in the chapel, with Dr. Dennis Draper and the Rev. Steve Wellman officiating. Interment will be held Monday at Sunrise Cemetery in Bluff City, Tenn.

Ricky is survived by his parents, Dewey Edward Offield Jr. and Doris Ann Crumley Offield of Goldsboro; his sister, Delores Angela Currin and husband, Jay, and their children, Gage, Chase and Destiny, of Grovetown, Ga.; his brother, Lance Jay Offield of Texas; his special friend, Karen Herring and her children, Christina and Elizabeth; his friend, Tammie Denton Offield of Goldsboro; his maternal grandparents, Dock and Fairy Crumley of Bluff City, Tenn.; as well as many other family and friends.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to New Hope Methodist Church at 200 E. New Hope Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
