FAISON -- Fannie Lou Taylor Best, 62, 1570 Friendship Church Road, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Best is survived by her mother, Fannie Gautier Taylor of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Rodney J. and Sherry Hargrove Best of Faison; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna Best and Johnny Kennedy of Faison; five grandchildren, Molly Best, Colby Best, Justin Kennedy, Joshua Kennedy and Danielle Kennedy; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and members of the Best family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Best; her father, Wade H. Taylor; and her brother, Thomas Wade Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Ronnie Wise and the Rev. Bill Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in Faison Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the hour before the service and at the residence at other times.
