DANIEL T. FREULER

Jan. 11, 1955-Aug. 29, 2011

The Rev. Daniel "Danny" Thomas Freuler, 56, went to be with his Lord Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family.

Danny was born in Nash County Jan. 11, 1955, to Hazel Boyd Freuler and the late Daniel Aubrey Freuler.

He had been an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church since 1994, serving at Coker Memorial Church, Free Chapel Church, Rosewood Worship Center, Rowan Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and most recently at the church he began his ministry, Coker Memorial Church.

Danny was a graduate of Heritage Bible College, where he received his bachelor's degree in religious education and an associate degree in pastoral ministry.

He was a brave man who had battled cancer courageously for the last few months. Even during this time of sickness, Danny never gave up or let go of his firm belief in the power of prayer. Danny's determination to let it be God's will was an inspiration to all who knew him.

A service to celebrate Danny's life will be remembered at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at Coker Memorial Church, with the Rev. Preston Heath and the Rev. Charles Heath officiating.

In addition to his mother, Danny is survived by his wife, Judith H. Freuler; his children, Danielle Freuler of Fremont and Delia Blackmon of Clayton; his grandson, Gaston Blackmon; his sisters, Angela Hart of Greenville, S.C., Sandra Windham and husband, Dennis, of Holly Springs and Paula Hopper and husband, Mike, of Washington; three nieces; and two nephews.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Coker Memorial Church at 2643 N. Beston Road, LaGrange, N.C., 28551.

The family will receive friends Wednesday immediately following the service at the church, and other times at his home.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seymourfuneralhome.com.
