NEW BERN -- James J. "Jay" Salem Jr., 55, died Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Pollock-Best chapel, with the Rev. Syd Stewart officiating.
He was the son of Helen Marshburn Wood of New Bern.
He is survived by two sons and two stepchildren.
Visitation will follow the service. At other times, the family will be at the home of his mother.
