WILLIAM EARL WHITLEY

PIKEVILLE --William Earl Whitley, 303 N.W. Railroad St., Pikeville, passed away Saturday at his home with his wife by his side.
He was born Sept. 4, 1945, to the late W.J. and Mamie Whitley.
A native of Wilson County, Mr. Whitley was a member of Moose Lodge No. 969, and provided nearly 25 years of service with Export Leaf Tobacco.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Wilson, N.C.
Mr. Whitley is survived by his wife, Judy Parnell Whitley. He is also survived by his daughter, Renee Hawley of Wilson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence, 303 N.W. Railroad St. in Pikeville.
