Julia Elizabeth Abel, 85, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 16, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with visitation afterwards.
Mrs. Abel was born Jan. 7, 1926, to the late J.W. Conway and Elizabeth Dixon Conway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milo Virgil Abel II. She was a member of The Lord's Table in Goldsboro.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Deborah) Abel, Allen (Rachel) Abel and Virgil (Diane) Abel; one daughter, Janice Whittaker; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
