DUDLEY -- Kathy Anne Johnson, 54, 434 Woodland Church Road in Dudley, passed away Sunday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Kathy was born in Wayne County Feb. 18, 1957, to the late Ressie Bryant Mozingo and Eloise Hill Mozingo.
Mrs. Johnson was the owner of Michelle's restaurant in Goldsboro.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Bill Cotton officiating.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Lawrence; her daughter, Jennifer Chase and husband, Joe, of Goldsboro; Joe's son, Brandon Chase of Goldsboro; her granddaughter, Cortney Chase of Goldsboro; her brothers, Jerry Mozingo and wife, Sheila, of Goldsboro, Curlie Mozingo and wife, Becky, of Goldsboro, Gene Mozingo and wife, Edna, of Wendell and Allen Mozingo and wife, Donna, of Goldsboro; her sisters, Frances Mozingo of Goldsboro, Louise Chase and husband, Reuben, of Goldsboro, Bobbie Mozingo of Goldsboro and Betty Sears and husband, John of Goldsboro; 10 nephews; two nieces; as well as special friends, Gen. Steve Kwast and wife, Joni.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence, 434 Woodland Church Road in Dudley.
