Bobby Ray Darden died April 17, 2011, at Duke Medical Center in Durham.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene M. Darden of the home; three children, Bocardo R. Darden of Durham, Shelida D. Bizzell of Goldsboro and Borencio R. Darden of Cary; four grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.
There will be a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Howell Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
