WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Lonnie A. Jones, 79, 539 Quintana Place NW, died Sunday at Howard University Hospital.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, with Dr. Frankie Anna Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Louise Jones Goodman and Jim Henry Leach, and the husband of the late Mary Carlton Jones.
Three daughters survive.
Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service at the church Saturday.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
