May Hines Jones, 78, 2002 S. John St., Goldsboro, N.C., died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park South, with the Rev. Kenneth J. Tate officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracey Jones of Goodyear, Ariz.; grandson, Trevor Edwards of Goodyear, Ariz.; sister, Margaret Jones of Jersey City, N.J.; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Alpha Kappa Alpha rites will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
