ALICE FAYE ROSE

Alice Faye Rose, 69, passed away Saturday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She had been a resident of Newcomb's Family Care for many years.
Faye was born in Wayne County Nov. 5, 1941, to the late Joe Wilburn Rose Sr. and Alice Hollowell Rose.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe W. Rose Jr., and her sister, Helen R. Allen.
Faye will be remembered for her determination to never give up. She has now entered the gates of Heaven, where she has been given her new body and where she joins loved ones who preceded her in death.
Faye was a member of Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church, with pastor Lewis Forsythe officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Faye is survived by her sister, Katie Mitchell of Goldsboro, and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 2127 U.S. 70 West, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends Monday following the service at the church, and other times at the home of her sister, Katie Mitchell, 757 Charlie Braswell Road, Goldsboro.
