WARSAW -- James Elwood Carter Sr., 72, died at home.
Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Community Funeral Home in Warsaw.
He was the son of Charlie Herbert Carter and Pearl Daniels Carter.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lanie Grace Carter of Warsaw; two sons, James E Carter Jr. of Mount Olive and Ronald L Carter of Beaulaville; a daughter, Angela Carter Michalek of Goldsboro; three granddaughters; and a great granddaughter.
