HENRY M. 'JACKIE' PATE

MOUNT OLIVE -- Henry Marshall "Jackie" Pate, 70, 830 Northeast Church Road, a retired farmer, died Wednesday night, Feb. 16, at Wayne Hospital.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ralph Parker officiating, followed by visitation. The burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, in Wayne Memorial Park.

Friends and family are being received at the residence.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Diane Pate, and his parents, Henry Marshall and Delia Lewis Pate.

Surviving are his wife, Erma Myers Pate of the home; a son, Marshall Pate of the home; two daughters, Tammy P. Hill and husband, Roger, of Goldsboro and Delia P. Pate and husband, Kenneth, of Turkey; two sisters, Betty Parker of Dunn and Annette Smith of Goldsboro; a special cousin, George Lewis of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren.
