Died Feb. 10, 2011
Peggy W. Sherard, 61, 610 Park Ave., Apt. 5, succumbed to the silent halls of death Thursday evening at her residence.
She retired as an LPN from Cherry Hospital.
Eulogistic services will held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion Church Ministries, 323 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, with pastor Alvin Carlisle officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in the Wayne Memorial Park.
Precious memories are held sacred by her children Bobby Sherard Jr. of Goldsboro and Camelia Johnson of Charlotte; her mother, Fannie Williams of Goldsboro; her sisters, Melvalene W. Greenfield and Rosa W. Carlisle of Goldsboro; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 12 noon to 1 p.m., with the family present to receive friends.
The family will receive friends at other times at 708 Prince Ave., where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral cortege.
