FREMONT -- Adelaide Reade Mayo, 88, Fremont, died Saturday.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Fremont United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Judy Drye officiating.
Mrs. Mayo is survived by a daughter, Anne Mayo Howell of Fremont; a granddaughter, Keri Anne Howell of Fremont; and two sisters, Dorothy Reade Temple of Cary and Rachel Reade Hicks of Raleigh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ballance Mayo.
Arrangements are by Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
