HAZEL P. ANDERSON

MOUNT OLIVE -- Hazel Parker Anderson, 84, passed away Saturday.
Services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday from the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Mickey Whitfield and the Rev. Sherman Dilley.
Immediately following the service, the family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home, and at other times at the residence, 127 Crest Drive, Mount Olive.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Maplewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was a longtime active member of Northeast Free Will Baptist Church and its ladies auxiliary. She was also involved with the ministries of Gideons International.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie L. Anderson of the home; a son, Douglas Lee Anderson and wife, Jean, of Faison; a daughter, Cynthia A. Creech and husband, Tim, of Sleepy Creek in Dudley; two brothers, Emory Parker and Gene Ray Parker both of Wallace; two sisters, Kathleen Cottle of Wallace and Calister English of Wilmington; four grandchildren, Amanda Daniels, John Anderson, Casey Anderson, and Elizabeth Daughtry; and six great-grandchildren, Dylan Daniels, Noah Daniels, Jake Anderson, Parker Anderson, Landon Daughtry and Allie Daughtry.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, William and Mary Walker Parker, and siblings, Millard Parker, William Parker Jr., Marion Parker and Pearl Cottle.
