Douglas Stanley Davis, 71, Wayne Memorial Drive, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Free Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends following the service. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born in Wayne County May 3, 1939, to the late James Denver Davis and Nannie Hare Davis.
He is survived by a son and a daughter.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
