CHARLIE R. PELT III

Charlie Richard Pelt, III, 58, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at Pitt Memorial Hospital following injuries received in an automobile accident.
Charlie was born in Wayne County Oct. 16, 1952, to the late Murray L. Pelt and Melva Jean Neal Pelt.
Charlie was a member of Goldsboro Friends Meeting.
He had previously been employed as a heating and air technician.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, with David Brindle officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at his daughter's home located at 200 Red Hawk Trail, Seven Springs.
Charlie is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Sanderson and husband, Chris, of Seven Springs; his sister, Barbara P. Bailey and husband, Jesse F. Bailey, of Pikeville; his brother, Gerald N. Pelt of Goldsboro; and his grandchildren, Austin Sanderson and Anna Beth Sanderson.
Charlie was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Emmitt Neal, Bessie H. Neal, Charlie R. Pelt II and Sallie B. Pelt.
