Mrs. Estill Patty Johnson, 90, of 103 Fox Lake Drive, died at her home Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011.

A private graveside service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Clinton Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Redmond and Dr. Ed Gunter officiating.

Born in 1920 in Bladen County, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Versa James and Nena Meares Savage Register. She was a lifelong active member of the First United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Edwin Lee Johnson.

She is survived by a daughter, Patty J. Perkins and husband, David, of Dudley; and two sons, Judge E. Lynn Johnson and wife, Ines, of Fayetteville and Dale P. Johnson and wife, Dianne, of Clinton; five grandchildren, Dr. Patrick Johnson and wife, Kelly, of Greenville, Tanya Hogsett and husband, Russell, of Greensboro, Amy Johnson of Raleigh, Chad Johnson and wife, Jessica, of Raleigh and Meredith Dillon and husband, Geoff, of Atlanta, Ga.; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends immediately following the services in the church fellowship hall and other times at her home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 208 Sampson Street, Clinton, NC 28328.
