DONALD L. GALLOWAY

Donald Lawrence Galloway, 67, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Britthaven Nursing Home.

Donald was born in Tampa, Florida on Nov. 22, 1943, to the late James Galloway and Ruby Snow Galloway. He served his country in the United States Air Force as a medic. Donald retired from Bell South after 25 years of service and later worked as a security officer at Cary High School. He was a member of the Lions Club in Charlotte and All Nations Fellowship in Raleigh.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Thomas R. Moore Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Hope G. Moore and husband, the Rev. Thomas R. Moore II of Seven Springs and Lisa Galloway of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Corey Lucas, Thomas Moore III, Brianna Moore, Lindsey Moore and Reagan Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Galloway Bryan.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Church of God of Prophecy at 1921 Highway 111 North, Goldsboro, NC.
