Mark Alex Easton, 54, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was born in Wayne County, Mich., to Jeanne Pintar Easton and the late Francis Earl Easton.
Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with pastor Andy Stovall officiating. The family will be receiving friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Faye Gooding Easton; one son, Mickey Melvin of the home; one daughter, Carmen Melvin of Goldsboro; two brothers, Scott Easton and Craig Easton, both of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Jody, Jenna and Jeremy Melvin; three nephews, Joshua Mark Easton, Bradley Craig Easton and Christopher Wayne Stokes; and a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Easton and his brother, Wayne Easton.
