Durwood Ray Smith, 75, passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at his home.
Durwood was born in Wayne County Sept. 15, 1935, to the late James P. Smith and Pauline McKeel Smith Bradshaw-Faison.
Durwood is survived by his daughters, Debra Kay Berry of Goldsboro, Betty Glenda Ketchuck of Goldsboro and Ella Louise Church of Bowling Green, Ky.; his half-sister, Shirley Meyers of Kinston; his half-brothers, James Smith, Kenneth Smith and Phil Smith all of Snow Hill, Gary Smith of New Bern and Rex Smith of Lucama; his seven grandchildren; and his nine great-grandchildren.
No formal service will be held.
