James Lester Higgins II, 54, N.C. 581 north, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Riverside Free Will Baptist Church in Princeton.
Higgins was born in Indiana Jan. 16, 1956, to James Lester Higgins I of Indiana and the late Neva Faye Sturman Higgins. He was married to Carrie Higgins.
He is survived by seven children.
The family will receive friends following the service.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
